CHANGE MANAGEMENT
CHANGE MANAGEMENT
Enabling you and your people to live and manage through change.
By choosing to manage change you are taking the first big step forward. Change management is an intentional and structured process that supports people through change. It focuses on adoption, usage, and achieving success through measurable results.

I will never tell you that change is easy; however, if you are committed to it, and can approach it with an open mind that embodies curiosity, there is a world full of possibility. Change is possible. Let’s do it together.
“Managing change is like most things in life; one action will give us 80% of the benefits
in 20% of the time. Let's put this truism into action!"
~Phil Buckley
What is change?
The desire to move from where we are today (current state) through a transition period into a new state (future state). Becoming something different.
What is change management?
Applying a structured approach to change leveraging a specific set of tools and resources that will focus on both the project level and organizational level leading people through the change to achieve their desired outcomes.
Who is involved in change management?
Led by a certified change practitioner like me, change management is created by engaging a team that includes leadership, project management and people managers.
Why is it essential to measure change?
We measure change throughout the project to establish and benchmark project health, identify risks, and improve overall outcomes. This means that success can be achieved. Since change management is all about leading people through the change, we measure project health and success based on an assessment of leadership, project management, and change management criteria.
These criteria add value in many ways, including:

shared understanding and common language for measurement
at a glance contribution of change management to the overall project
identification of key risks, gaps, and competencies

What is The Prosci ADKAR Model?
Change takes time to build. We all go through sequential steps on our road to change. This model has been created to help us understand the human change experience. It helps us to navigate this rocky road so the how, why, and what's next becomes more accessible, clearer, and more defined. Change happens one person at a time. Organizational change happens as the individuals move along the continuum of their personal change.

Awareness:
recognizing that there is a need for change
Desire: a connection to wanting to participate in and supporting the change
Knowledge: understanding how to change (I have the tools, processes, systems etc. in place)
Ability: implementation and execution of the skills, behaviours and doing of the change required
Reinforcement: sustainment of the change
(PROSCI, 2024)
None of this is easy work. It takes time and effort to learn, build and transform through change.

We met when we were both Senior leaders at WalMart. It was an instant connection. I left to start my own company. I had a clear vision but I wasn’t sure how to communicate it. With patience, compassionate listening, and a true desire to learn more about me Jen helped me clarify my voice and connect it to my why. I discovered my ideal customer and have built a better understanding about them with Jen’s guidance. Jen’s leadership helped me create and write my story, build my brand strategy, and ultimately give my business life. She is a uniquely gifted storyteller. Brands flourish because of this and so will yours. She is not only creative but her coaching approach is top-notch.
